Only the guests specified in the contract are permitted on the property. Children, infants and babies must also be specified as individual persons. In case of overcrowding, Holidu or the host is entitled to demand additional payment for the respective period of time. The landlord is also entitled to expel the excess persons from the property.
Holidays in Torrox (region of Axarquía, Málaga, Andalusia, Spain) near Costa del Sol at a more than a reasonable price.
The beautiful holiday home Villa Villena is only 15 minutes away from the nearest beach. It can accommodate up to 4 people and it is also very well equipped (with air conditioning, dishwasher, internet connection ...).
Villa Villena is just a few meters away from the road that goes from Torrox to the famous village of Cómpeta. The last 30 meters of this road run along a dirt road. If you drive about 20 minutes you will find the nearest beach in Torrox Costa, and the well known restaurant "Pavo Real" is only 2 minutes away on foot. From the different terraces of the holiday home you can enjoy a wonderful view over the undulating landscape, which in winter and spring this view will remind you a little of the area of La Gomera or Tenerife. In the back terrace you will also find a brick barbecue and a fountain surrounded by orange and lemon trees. Here there is more than enough space to have lunch or relax outdoors, as well as to sunbathe without no one bothering you.
Since 2013 there is also a spacious, covered corner with a brick bench and a lounge area in the style of Antoni Gaudí. One of the bedrooms (the smaller one) leads directly to this part of the terrace.
Around the pool of Villa Villena, as well as on all the terraces, there is enough space for you to relax and enjoy your well-deserved holidays in Andalusia. The pool is cleaned once or twice a week but there’s also an automatic filtering system that guarantees you clear, germ-free water for several hours. There is also an outdoor shower.
In the main house of Villa Villena there is a corridor, a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen and two bathrooms. At the entrance, the covered porch has been turned into a winter garden in which there is a table and chairs for 7 people. To make sure guests are safe while maintaining the rustic style of the house, the steel door (with a safety lock) has been covered with wood. All the doors and windows of Villa Villena have railings because content insurances in Spain require that all the windows located on ground floors must have either railings or bulletproof glass; otherwise, houses are only partially insured or not insured at all. Nonetheless, since the (German) landlords bought the house no one has ever tried to break in.
In the winter garden there is a ceiling fan which comes in handy during the summer. During the coldest months, it is a wonderful place to have breakfast or dinner, as this room always has a similar temperature at all time of the year. In the living room there is a sofa, a coffee table, a shelf and a dining table for 6 people. In addition, there is a gas fireplace with a protective glass, a German digital satellite flat screen TV and air conditioning.
It also has a fully equipped kitchen with a vitroceramic hob and an oven. Next to the fridge/freezer there is also a coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle, a microwave a dishwasher and crockery for at least 4 people.
Villa Villena has 2 bedrooms (the beds are 2 m long and 1.5 m wide and 1.90 m long x 1.80 m wide) and 2 bathrooms. In both bedrooms there are ceiling fans and the master bedroom is also air-conditioned. From the smaller bedroom you have direct access to the newly constructed, 4.5 m² en-suite bathroom, which has a skylight and a shower. In the other bathroom, which is slightly larger, there is a bathtub.
We would like to point out that as a rule we cannot accept any bookings with booking gaps of more than 2-3 days maximum. The holiday home must therefore be free for up to 2 days before any arrival and after any departure; otherwise, at least 7 days.
General information
Renting a car or a private car is mandatory, as this holiday home is located in the countryside, there are no street names and it is not accessible by public transport. The property is private and although there are houses in the area, none are in the immediate vicinity.
Pool season: usually from 01 April to 31 October
Sheets and towels are included at no extra cost.
Internet (WLAN): 4,- Euro per day, payable in cash on site
Please note that a deposit of €400 is required in cash upon arrival. The deposit will be refunded by bank transfer, once it has been verified that there are no damages, within a maximum period of 2 weeks.
Please note: keys can be handed over on the day of arrival from 16:00 to 22:00. After 22:00 there is a night supplement of 50, - Euro and between 24:00 and 01:00 there is a night supplement of 80, - Euro. It is NOT possible to hand over the keys or to arrive at the house when your flight lands after 23:00 as scheduled. So if you have a night flight arriving later than 23.00 in Malaga we recommend you to book a hotel room directly at the airport!
Note on electricity costs for houses with air conditioning and/or electric heating: On your arrival and departure day we read the electricity meter together with you. If the consumption is higher than the amount included in the rental price (150 kw per week or 21,5 kw per day for stays of more than one week), an additional payment in cash on site (0,39 Euro per kw) is due for this consumption part. With economical or reasonable electricity consumption you can expect about 150 kw per week.
