Only the guests specified in the contract are permitted on the property. Children, infants and babies must also be specified as individual persons. In case of overcrowding, Holidu or the host is entitled to demand additional payment for the respective period of time. The landlord is also entitled to expel the excess persons from the property.

The charming Finca Sandrina is located in the south of Spain, in Campo de Torrox, eastern Axarquia, Andalusia. You will find this small, romantic finca, decorated in a "shabby" style, between the villages of Cómpeta (about 6 km away) and Torrox Pueblo (about 10 km away). In the main road which goes from Costa del Sol to Cómpeta or Canillas de Albaida there is a 800 m dirt road that leads to the valley where Finca Sandrina is located. In some parts of the road you will have to drive slowly, but it is not necessary to bring an off-road vehicle. About 800 m away you will find the popular restaurant "Pavo Real", which is right at the exit of the road that connects Cómpeta with Finca Sandrina.
You will access the property through a wooden gate. Your rental car(s), or your own, can be parked in the garage underthe shade of the bamboo cover. There are also an outside kitchen, a very nice charcoal grill and, since 2016, also a barbecue; you will also find 4 sunbeds, an umbrella and, of course, enough seats inside and outside.
The view of the mountainous landscape of La Axarquía, including the 2,065 meter high Maroma, is already impressive, but it can seem even more beautiful if you admire the landscape while bathing in the pool. At Finca Sandrina you can spend your well-deserved holiday in an ancient, authentic Andalusian finca.
The cozy living room is very romantic and playful with its colourful accents here and there. Its charming rustic style will make you fall in love with the forgotten world of country life. The German SAT (Astra) TV, the W-LAN connection, the sound equipment with CD player, as well as the books and board games promise hours of entertainment, even if it is one of those rare rainy or cold days of the year. The dining table for 4 people is rarely used, because here in Andalusia everything is done mainly outdoors.
The kitchen is similar to those old kitchens you could find in your Grandma's house, as it is a typical country house kitchen. However, all the antiquities you will find around the house are not at odds with the comfort. The kitchen is not very big, but it is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant holiday including a dishwasher.
In the house there is a bedroom with a double bed (width 1.80 m, length 2.0 m) and air conditioning, another bedroom with 2 single beds (2 x 0.90 width and 2.0 m length - which of course can be combined into a double bed) and a small bathroom with shower (and hairdryer). In the living room, which leads to the kitchen, there is an LCD TV with German SAT-TV. A travel cot and highchair can be provided free of charge on request (please indicate this when booking) at Finca Sandrina.
The international airport of Malaga is about 50 km away and the beaches of Costa del Sol are 10 km away. This area has one of the best climates in Europe. In this small refurbished finca, you will undoubtedly enjoy a romantic and peaceful holiday. In the mountain villages of Cómpeta and Torrox you can also do some shopping, eat out, get some drinks, go shopping...
We would like to point out that as a rule we cannot accept any bookings with booking gaps of more than 2-3 days maximum. The holiday home must therefore be free for up to 2 days before any arrival and after any departure; otherwise, at least 7 days.
General information
Renting a car or a private car is mandatory, as this holiday home is located in the countryside, there are no street names and it is not accessible by public transport. The property is private and although there are houses in the area, none are in the immediate vicinity.
Pool season: usually from 01 April to 31 October
Internet (WLAN): 4,- Euro per day, payable in cash on site
Your on-site support speaks German, English and Spanish. We will meet you at an easy to find place, drive with you to your holiday home, hand you the keys and tell you all the special features of the house and the surroundings. If there should be any problem, we will be at your disposal by e-mail and/or telephone.
Due to legal regulations in Andalusia we need the following information from all tenants before arrival: First name, surname, sex, date of birth, ID number and the date of issue as well as the e-mail address and mobile phone number of the main tenant for contact purposes.
Please note: keys can be handed over on the day of arrival from 16:00 to 22:00. After 22:00 there is a night supplement of 50, - Euro and between 24:00 and 01:00 there is a night supplement of 80, - Euro. It is NOT possible to hand over the keys or to arrive at the house when your flight lands after 23:00 as scheduled. So if you have a night flight arriving later than 23.00 in Malaga we recommend you to book a hotel room directly at the airport!
For the use of the central heating (of course only on explicit request and if available according to the property description) 100,- Euro per week (= max. one big gas bottle) have to be paid.
Please note that a deposit of 400€ must be paid in cash on arrival. The deposit will be refunded by bank transfer, once it has been verified that there are no damages, within a maximum period of 2 weeks.
Note on electricity costs for houses with air conditioning and/or electric heating: On your arrival and departure day we read the electricity meter together with you. If the consumption is higher than the amount included in the rental price (150 kw per week or 21,5 kw per day for stays of more than one week), an additional payment in cash on site (0,39 Euro per kw) is due for this consumption part. With economical or reasonable electricity consumption you can expect about 150 kw per week.
